The statements of this policy describe how PrimeTutor.sg handles the personal information submitted to us, voluntarily or involuntarily. All information that comes through our website, email or contacts will be subjected to our policy practices.
A customer is a person who submits a tuition request together with personal information such as name, contact numbers, address, and email. When a customer submits a request, only the tuition requirements such as area, subjects, lesson frequency are made known to our selected tutors. If our client confirms a tutor, only the client’s name, contact number and address are made known to that tutor.
A tutor is a person who registers and maintains a tutor account with us. When a tutor registers with us, he or she has to submit information such as name, NRIC number, and date of birth, gender, photograph, address, email, contact numbers, occupation, detailed qualifications and relevant experiences as a tuition teacher, area(s) and subject(s) preferences. In order to recommend tutors through our website, only tutor's name, photograph, occupation, brief qualifications, experiences and preferences are viewable by site visitors. At any time, the tutor can upload or remove his or her own photograph and show or hide his detailed qualifications. We will maintain the tutor's privacy even if he or she has terminated his or her tutor account with us.
Only managerial level and above have access to employees' private information such as resumes, curriculum vitae or job applications. We will mark their information as confidential and will not disclose any part of it.
Public or Site Visitors
We do not use "cookies", "web-bugs" or any other tracking technologies to collect information from users of our website.
We ensure our customers that all personal information collected is accurate and kept up-to-date. We will not deceive our customers by falsifying tutor's profile. We will only make necessary changes to keep out tutors' profiles more organised e.g. cropping of tutor's photograph. We do not maintain duplicate copies of personal information in different systems.
We do not send unsolicited marketing email to our customers. Customers will occasionally receive email on special promotions we hold. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, they may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying unsubscribe in the subject line and email.
We ensure our customers that appropriate security safeguards are in place to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, copying, use, alteration, accidental loss or theft, destruction or damage. However, we do not rule out the possibility of data loss, thus we are not responsible for any unauthorised access beyond our control.
Only authorised personnel have access to our systems. Our employees have limited access to our customers' and tutors' data.

Prime Tutor do not disclose customers' information whenever there is a major business transition such as merger, acquisition or diversification.
